ever since i was little i could remember living at barnes and nobles. it was (and still is) my favorite place to go to escape from... reality. i used run across the aisles while my mother watched from far behind, constantly peering over the magazine she was skimming to see if i was safe. i grabbed so many books at a time during one trip, enough for me to struggle as i walked towards my mother. she would always laugh and say that i needed only two books out of the ten i picked out. couple of years later my book collection grew substantially large. books were found all over my parents' apartment. now since i'm older, i haven't been reading a lot of books due to school, my personal agendas, and all-in-all i got really lazy. so one of my goals for this year is to start reading again.

the books i would like to read are:

never let me go - kazuo ishiguro

1Q84 - haruki murakami

the paris review interviews

brave new world - aldous huxley

the paris wife - paula mclain

aaesop's fables - aesop (?)

andy warhol diaries - andy warhol

any other book i could get my hands on before the end of the year

+never let me go was adapted into a movie by mark romanek in 2010 with actors keira knightley and andrew garfield (one of my many celebrity crushes.) i heard about the book and the movie through oh, hello there

+1Q84 is at least 1000+ pages long. it's concerning especially for someone like me who can only read 10 pages a day.

+i actually own brave new world, but never actually got around reading it.

+i never read aesop's fables... how weird.

+all other books were founded through curiosity...

browsing on vogue and lusting over clothes that i'll never be able to afford like carven's pre-fall collection. carven, oh carven, why aren't you in my closet? i promise i won't abuse you with my clumsiness and my tendency to spill fluids on you.
